What are “onerous” regulations?
Two items in the June 21 Observer-Reporter caught my attention.
The first was a political cartoon in which a man is standing outside a coal mine exclaiming “Coal is back…hooray!” while inside the gate, the mine is being manned by robots. How much of an exaggeration is this political cartoon?
The other item was an article on page A6 in which I learned that President Trump is nominating a Republican to the National Labor Relations Board and will also have another nomination soon. This will put the Republicans in the majority and they can undo the “onerous” regulations of the Obama administration.
It would be nice to learn what these onerous regulations are and whether they protect any working people in Greene County.
We seem to be in an era where everything must be done for business.
