Narcan comments were long overdue
This letter is in response to David Schriber’s July 20 letter to the editor about treating opioid addicts with Narcan.
Schriber deserves thanks for long overdue comments concerning the drug problem that has invaded our communities. His comments were very much appreciated by those of us who still believe that the proper way to survive in this crazy world is to stay away from the illegal drugs that are slowly killing our society, get and keep a job, pay taxes and positively contribute to our communities.
We have many fine people on welfare who truly need that help. Others are simply abusing the system. Will any of this change? I don’t think so. All that we can do is continue to contribute in a positive way, and hope and pray that this horrible plague goes away.
