The president’s comedic talent
The American people recognize the unintended comedic talent of our president in his call to Congress to end “trivial fights” in order to help ordinary Americans.
Trump, of course, is the king of “trivial fights,” attempting to show that his inauguration crowd was larger than that of President Obama, that he won the popular vote in the November election, to cite just a couple examples. During the campaign, he went to great lengths in an X-rated debate exchange to assert that his sexual prowess was second to none. He uses Twitter not to speak out against true injustice and atrocity, such as the murder of a Kansas man of Indian descent, an apparent act of bigotry, but to attack the defenseless. He outrageously sought to bring harm to Nordstrom for its business decision to discontinue offering daughter Ivanka’s line of clothing.
Maybe Congress will consider ending the “trivial fights” when it receives some leadership on the matter from the president. It is highly unlikely that the chief leopard will change his spots.
