Appalled by Halloween parade

I was absolutely appalled that New York Mayor Bill de Blasio chose to hold the city’s Halloween Parade in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on Tuesday night. His supposed reason was that we shouldn’t allow these things to change our way or life. However, out of respect for the dead and wounded, it should have been canceled.

Five of the dead were from Argentina, and one was from Belgium. I can’t help but wonder what the citizens of those countries must think of us.

The mayor showed a complete lack of wisdom with this decision.
