LETTER Dedicated workers should be recognized
Last Sunday, I had a waterline break in my front yard. It affected me and my neighbors. That night, representatives of Pennsylvania American Water came out, determined the problem and made the necessary repairs. They were there until 5 a.m, and a number of them worked the previous night, when temperatures were well below zero.
Too often, we complain when we are inconvenienced in some small way while these dedicated workers are working in inclement conditions, and are not recognized in the least.
They deserve kudos, along with the North Strabane Township road crew that salted the roads and the township police as well.
