LETTER Utility bills should be reduced
News reports have stated that many utility companies across the nation are using a portion of the reduction in their corporate tax rates to give their customers a break on their utility bills.
Generally speaking, bills are being reduced by approximately 5 percent. As residents of the Washington area, we should expect West Penn Power, Columbia Gas, Comcast, AT&T, Verizon and others to follow this example.
