LETTER: City streets in bad shape

The roads in Washington are horrible. What exactly does the City of Washington’s street department do? Because they don’t pave or patch very much. The road beside Washington High School has been patched, but it’s just as bad as it was before the work was done. The road beside Goodwill is in dire need of paving, not patching. I’ve used this road daily for the past 15 years and it’s never been fixed.

Can someone please fix these roads?
