LETTER: Honor the dead at Potter’s Field
With Veterans Day fast approaching, I feel its long overdue that the county honor those at the Potter’s Field Cemetery, on the grounds of the Washington County Health Center.
With 384 buried there, I am certain there has to be at least one veteran from the Civil War or World War I. Since the records of those buried there are probably long lost, let’s at least fly one flag on site to honor those who no longer have a voice.
