Liberal schools no longer believe in failure

I recently read an article where school officials claimed the standardized test system was broken. This was said, I believe, because scores remain low.
Scores will remain low because there is no reason for students to really put in the effort to learn the subject matter. They know they will graduate no matter what happens because our liberal schools no longer believe in failure. Rather, they believe in grade inflation to make sure students pass. That includes making any test easier to pass without actually knowing anything beyond the basics.
If school administrators want better standardized test results, they should get back to failing underperforming students. As a result of the liberal policies in our schools, today a high school diploma has almost no value. Anyone can get one.
