When politicians pontificate about the dangers to democracy, they never cite political decisions that are clearly anti-democratic. They ignore actions that overstep the constitutional authority given to our representatives in Congress.

I am talking about mandates to buy electric vehicles and other products, limit fossil fuel production, force fishermen to pay for government inspectors on their boats, forgive student loans and surrender our sovereignty to a world agency.

Add to that list opening the border, refusing to enforce existing laws and prosecute lawbreakers, and having the FBI flag those with whom they disagree.

Let’s be honest about the real threats to democracy.
