Neither candidate deserves our support

So here we finally sit with what I see as the two least qualified candidates for president that I can remember, perhaps the worst combination there has ever been in this country.

One of them has slowed noticeably, both physically and mentally, and the other displays his raging psychotic delusions of persecution and grandeur every time he speaks.

Our two major political parties have failed us totally, thinking only of what is good for them, and not giving the good of the general population even a second thought. I know several people in my own experience who I would prefer to be our president. Neither of these candidates, in their current condition, should be seen as capable of leading a scout troop, forget a county. It is a shame that really qualified candidates are either too smart to want the job or cannot get their party to support them

Our southern border remains in turmoil at least partly because one of the candidates told his party not to support a bipartisan bill that would have offered some relief just because it was not politically expedient to his campaign that the issue be addressed during the election cycle.

We continue to allow Russia and its leader, Vladimir Putin, a Hitler wannabe if there ever was one, to wage war on Ukraine, apparently hoping this demigod will be satisfied with just one conquest, although history tells us that this never happens. If you want to see Russian interference in an election, just wait as they dig in to support the candidate who has publicly supported Russian attacks on NATO members who do not pay their bills.

It is my plan to turn down the sound when either of these candidates opens his mouth, because neither of them ever says anything that we have not heard before, over and over. More than ever before I will go to the polls holding my nose and shaking my head because neither of these candidates deserves our support.

I am so sick of voting for the least objectionable choice instead of picking between two candidates who are willing to work for the good of the country rather than the good of their party.
