Is there anything better than a good dessert? Cookies, pastries, cakes – you just can’t go wrong.

Especially here in our region, where many would say we have the best local bakeries.

But don’t take our word for it.

The Observer-Reporter Best of the Best awards continues to celebrate the best businesses, organizations, people and more that the residents of Washington County, Greene County and the South Hills thought deserved the distinction of best in their respective category.

The response from the community and nominees was overwhelming. More than 425,000 votes were captured from 28,000 unique voters, validating the vitality of the communities that comprise the Observer-Reporter’s coverage area.

One of our most popular categories was best bakery. Here’s what our readers came up with.
