Mia Woytovich and Corina Gottheld combined for 26 points to lead Charleroi to a 39-35 victory over Washington in a Section 5-AA game.
Woytovich had 15 points and Gottheld 11 for the Cougars (2-0, 4-1).
Tajah Gordon paced Washington (1-1, 2-3) with 10 points.
Bethel Park 61, Canon-McMillan 43: A 19-7 run in the first quarter was enough to give Bethel Park a 61-43 victory over Canon-McMillan in a Section 4-AAAA game.
Megan Morecic scored a game-high 24 points for the Black Hawks (2-0, 4-1). Harper Zimmerman chipped in with 10 points.
McGuffey 72, Burgettstown 27: Sammie Weiss scored a game-high 30 points and McGuffey held Burgettstown to nine second-half points to take a 72-27 victory in a Section 5-AA game.
Weiss also had 10 steals for the Highlanders (1-0, 4-1). Samantha Chadwick tossed in 13 points and Abby Pattison had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Kristen Roy paced Burgettstown with nine points.
Ringgold 50, Waynesburg 27: Bailey Cooper led a balanced attack with 12 points as Ringgold downed Waynesburg 50-27 in a Section 4-AAA game.
Josie Schmidt had eight points and 11 rebounds for (Rams 1-1, 2-3).
Payton Lohr led Waynesburg (0-1, 2-3) with 10 points.
Quaker Valley 44, Trinity 39: Quaker Valley held off a fourth-quarter rally by Trinity to take a 44-39 victory in Section 5-AAA.
Sierra Perlik scored 28 points QV (1-0, 3-1), which led 33-23 after three quarters but were outscored by five in the final eight minutes.
Mary Dunn led Trinity (0-2, 1-3) with 13 points.
Bentworth 49, SS Beaver 44: Taylor Pompei scored a game-high 24 points to pace Bentworth to a 49-44 victory over South Side Beaver in a Section 5-AA game.
The win moved Bentworth to 1-1 in the section and 2-3 overall.
Stephanie Myak’s 11 points keyed SSB (1-1, 3-3).
Greensburg Salem 63, Belle Vernon 53: Jayne Oberdorf scored 24 points to lead Greensburg Salem to a 63-53 victory over Belle Vernon. Jessica Slagus led BV (4-1) with 19 points.
West Greene 54, Geibel Catholic 46: Madison Raber scored 27 points as West Greene went on a 27-2 run in the third quarter to put away Geibel, 52-46, in a non-section game.
Alyssa Raber chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Pioneers (3-1), who withstood a 27-5 run in the fourth quarter after they had pulled their starters.
Payton McIntyre led Geibel (1-4) with 27 points.
Frazier 41, Jefferson-Morgan 40: Kaylee Barota made a free throw with three seconds remaining to lift Frazier over Jefferson-Morgan, 41-40, in a non-section game.
Barota led Frazier (3-1), which trailed 20-7 after one quarter, but led 25-24 at the half, with 13 points, while Lauren Timko and Hannah Kline had 12 each.
Ally Bogden had 13 points, while Kayla Yorko added 10, for the Rockets (2-3).
Carmichaels 61, Beth-Center 33: Morgan Berardi had 22 points to go with nine steals, eight assists and seven rebounds, as Carmichaels topped Beth-Center, 61-33, in a non-section game.
Caroline Cree added 21 points, while Amanda Brown had 12 for the Mikes (5-1).
Anna Bartman scored 17 points for Beth-Center (1-4).
Chartiers-Houston 57, Wilkinsburg 5: Chartiers-Houston held Wilkinsburg without a field goal for three quarters in a 57-5 Section 4-AA win for the Bucs.
Amanda Balzer had 22 points, while Ashley Balzer added 10 rebounds and Kristin Scott chipped in six assists and six steals for the Bucs (1-0, 4-2).
Wilkinsburg (0-1, 0-3) dressed just five players.
Mt. Lebanon 68, Peters Township 17: Madelyn Collins had 11 points, as 12 players scored for Mt. Lebanon in a 68-17 Section 4-AAAA victory over Peters Township.
Jordan Holmes chipped in 10 points for the Blue Devils (2-0, 5-1).
Madison Kerr led the Indians (0-1, 2-3) with eight points.

Fort Cherry 76, Avella 49: Zak Dysert scored 18 points as Fort Cherry defeated Avella, 76-49, in a non-section game.
Jeremy Lucas added 14 points, and Nick Zando chipped in 11 for the Rangers (2-4).
Brandon R. Miller led Avella (2-4) with 18 points.
Beth-Center 57, Mapletown 47: Three players hit double figures to send Beth-Center to a 57-47 victory over Mapletown in a non-section game.
Zach Miller led the way with 16 points for B-C, now 4-0. Anthony Gilpin had 14 points and Adam Walters chipped in with 13.
Dereck Riggleman tossed in a game-high 25 points for the Maples (0-5). Kevin Ridgley chipped in with 16.
Carmichaels 50, Bentworth 47: Brandon Lawless and Cory Fuller combined for 47 points to assure Carmichaels a 50-47 victory over Bentworth in a non-section game.
Lawless scored a team-high 26 and Fuller added 21 for the Mikes (5-0).
Cody Levine scored a game-high 31 points for the Bearcats (0-1, 2-2).
Imani Christian 75, Monessen 67: Troy Simmons scored 19 points as Imani Christian held off Monessen, 75-67, in a non-section game.
Khari Hicks and Elijah Booker added 18 and 17, respectively, for Imani Christian (1-2).
Javon Brown had 17 points, Tyler Yuille 16, Clintell Gillaspie 13 and Luke Doptis 12 for Monessen (0-5).
