Freshman Janelle McCann scored her seventh goal of the season to carry the California Univeristy to a 1-0 victory over IUP in the PSAC quarterfinals Thursday. With the win, Cal is now 15-3-1 and can host the rest of the tournament.The top-seeded Vulcans, who won their first league title last season, have advanced to the PSAC semifinals each of the past four years and will play No. 4-seed Edinboro at 11 a.m. Saturday.McCann scored off a corner kick from sophomore Jordan Gray at the 24:18 mark. Sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Magruda made two saves to earn her eighth shutout of the season.
