Swimming: W&J men, women fall

The Westminster College swimming & diving teams swept a Presidents’ Athletic Conference dual meet from Washington & Jefferson Wednesday at the Henry Memorial Natatorium.

The Lady Titans nipped the Presidents (1-1, 3-1), 155-141, and the WC men pulled away from W&J, 183-101. The Westminster women won the final relay, 400 freestyle, to clinch the victory.

W&J’s Jessica Sweitzer and John Szott led their respective squads. Sweitzer was a part of three victories, including leading the 200 medley relay to an opening triumph in 1:54.98. She also claimed the 100 (54.94) and 200 (1:58.63) freestyles. Szott swept the diving events with 233.40 points on 1-meter and 180.30 points at 3-meters.
