Waynesburg University won consecutive Presidents’ Athletic Conference matches for the first time this season when it defeated host Bethany 4-2 Wednesday. The Jackets (3-3-1, 8-7-1) were behind 2-1 at halftime. However, the Yellow Jackets scored three goals in the the second half on 17 shots. Cody Lemke was the catalyst to the outburst. Still trailing by a goal in the 64th minute, Lemke took a feed from Adam Roberge and tied the score at 2-2. Less than three minutes later, Victor Browne hit the back of the net for a goal that was set up by Lemke to move Waynesburg ahead 3-2. During the 77th minute, the Jackets sealed up the victory as Lemke scored his team-leading seventh goal. n Washington & Jefferson scored the opening goal early, but Thomas More rallied for three unanswered goals to earn a 3-1 PAC victory at the Bank of Kentucky Field. W&J grabbed the lead 4:38 into the match when Adam Suter broke through the TMC defense for his fourth goal of the year.
