Chuck Calabrese hit a two-run, walkoff home run with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning Saturday to give Shady Side Academy an 8-7 victory over Washington in a non-section game.

Washington went into the bottom of the inning with a 7-2 lead but Shady Side Academy (4-1) scored six times. Andrew Eisner and Brian Hannon each had a double.

Losing pitcher Guy Markley had a double for Washington (3-1).

• In a game that saw the two teams combine for 15 walks, Avella came out with a 14-4 victory over Fort Cherry in a five-inning, non-section game.

Shawn Carl went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a triple for the Eagles (3-0). Tim Fraysier went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Fort Cherry fell to 2-2.
