Baseball: Cal swept at Lock Haven, falls into 1st-place tie

After being swept Saturday by California in Washington, Lock Haven rebounded and swept the Vulcans, 6-5 and 2-1 Sunday on the Bald Eagles’ home field.
Ryan Henritzy had the game-winning RBI in each game, a single in the bottom of the seventh inning of the opener and a bunt single in the sixth inning of the nightcap that broke a 1-1 tie.
Cal (9-3 in PSAC West Division, 24-10 overall), was held to nine hits over the two games. The Vulcans erased a 5-3 deficit in the opener by scoring two runs in the top of the seventh. The losses drop Cal into a tie for first place in the West with Gannon (9-3, 17-11).
Lock Haven is 8-8, 13-16.
