Baseball: West Greene gets shutout win

Tanner Wildman tossed a three-hitter and Dillon Shields drove in two runs to help West Greene shut out Mapletown, 10-0, in a five-inning Section 1-A game Monday.

Cody Jacobs and Kolten Richter each had a double for the Pioneers (1-6, 2-10).

Mapletown fell to 2-9, 0-7 in the section.

• David Lemley went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs to pace Bethel Park to a 12-2 victory over Peters Township in a Section 5-AAAA game.

Jake McCall added a double for BP (6-2, 14-2).

Chris Wastchak doubled for the Indians (4-4, 10-5).

• John Beveridge and Brandon Gresh combined on a five-inning no-hitter as Keystone Oaks defeated McGuffey 13-0 in a Section 3-AAA game.

Beveridge pitched four innings, striking out one and walking one. Gresh pitched a hitless fifth inning.

Ryan Rosato had a three-run triple for Keystone Oaks (6-1, 11-3), which moved into a first-place tie in the section with Chartiers Valley.
