Inclement weather forced the postponements of a number of high school basketball games Friday night, the first day of the high school winter sports season.

In the boys event, Westinghouse will play the winner of last night’s game between South Fayette and Avonworth at 6 p.m. Fort Cherry will play the winner of that event.

The game between McGuffey and Fort Cherry girls will be made up at a later date.
