Jocelyn Floyd, a Wash High graduate, became the Duquesne University women’s basketball program’s all-time leader in steals during the Dukes’ 53-44 victory over Massachusetts Sunday.

Floyd, who leads the NCAA in steals per game, scored 16 of her game-high 18 points in the first half and recorded a game-bests nine rebounds and seven steals.

Floyd has 341 career steals, breaking the school record of 334 by Korie Hlede (1995-98). Former California University head coach Darcie Vincent is third on the Dukes’ steals list with 323.
