Jordan Allen had eight strikeouts during Washington’s 8-0 win over Bellevue.

Cory Humphreys added a double for Washington, which improved to 4-3.

Lindy’s College Football Preview magazine listed the Washington & Jefferson College football team as the No. 21 team in its annual top 25 poll. It’s the second preseason national ranking of the summer for the Presidents, who are ranked 19th by the Sporting News College Football Yearbook.

In addition, senior wide receiver Alex Baroffio was a second team preseason All-American, according to Lindy’s.

Baroffio is 1,002 receiving yards and 15 catches shy of the program’s all-time marks in those categories.
