W&J water polo swept in California

Washington & Jefferson dropped a pair of non-conference women’s water polo matches Saturday at the California Baptist Lancer Invitational, losing to Chapman, 11-3, and 15-3 to Pomona Pitzer.

Charlotte Lima had eight saves in the opener for W&J (0-11), while McKenzie Graf stopped four shots in the second game.

Rachel Clauss had a goal in each match for the Presidents.
