Softball playoffs: Riverside perfect against Bentworth

Kirsten Wilson threw a perfect game, striking out 11, as No. 3 seed Riverside topped Bentworth, 10-0, Tuesday in a five-inning WPIAL Class AA first round girls softball playoff game at Lind Field.

Brooke Barker and Nicole Mansfield had doubled for Riverside (16-0), which advances to play Steel Valley in the quarterfinals next week.

Bentworth ends its season at 9-9.
