Doug Brooks scored 14 points and led four Virginia Commonwealth players in double figures Saturday night as the Rams defeated California University, 92-54, in a men’s college basketball exhibition game in Richmond.

VCU, coached by former Cal assistant Shaka Smart, led 45-23 at halftime.

Arman Marks scored 13 points and was the only Cal player to score in double figures.
