A PIAA appeals board denied for a second time in as many months the transfer of Zach Blystone from Charleroi to Washington.

Blystone, a 6-3, 265-pound football lineman, originally was ruled ineligible by the WPIAL Aug. 5, which believed the move was made for athletic intent. Nine days later, the PIAA upheld the WPIAL ruling.

Blystone met with the PIAA Wednesday after his lawyer claimed to have new evidence. But the request for eligibility was denied.

Representatives from each school and the Blystone family attended the meeting.
