Late TD pass gives Char-Houston come-from-behind win

CARNEGIE – Kaleb Susko threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Miles Williamson with 1:44 remaining in the fourth quarter Friday night to lift Chartiers-Houston to a 16-13 come-from-behind victory over Carlynton in a Black Hills Conference game.

Chartiers-Houston (3-2, 4-2) trailed 13-3 entering the final quarter, but ralled with a Williamson’s TD after Derek Hull scored on a 1-yard run early in the quarter to cut the lead to 13-10.

After Williamson’s score, Carlynton drove to midfield, but Doug Binardo picked off a pass to clinch the win for the Bucs.

Mike Cushman added a 28-yard field goal for the Bucs, who trailed 3-0 at the half on the first of two Ted Ford field goals.

Isaiah Canton, who had 126 yards rushing, scored on a 25-yard run in the third quarter for Carlynton (3-2, 4-2).
