Mt. Lebanon overpowers Canon-Mac

CANONSBURG – Mt. Lebanon running back Jake Rolfsen scored three touchdowns and rushed for 159 yards, and wide receiver Troy Apke, a Division 1 recruit, had a touchdown run and a touchdown reception as the Blue Devils (2-3, 2-4) defeated Canon-McMillan 49-7 Friday night in a Southeastern Conference matchup.

Rolfsen scored on a 72-yard run in the first quarter and added scoring runs of three and 25 yards.

Apke caught a10-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ed Jenkins and ran for a 49-yard score. Jenkins, who finished the night with 117 passing yards, also threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Shane LeFever.

Canon-McMillan (1-4, 1-5) scored its lone touchdown on a 12-yard run by Alec Hutchin, who was named Homecoming King at halftime, in the fourth quarter.
