Chartiers-Houston boosts playoff chances

HOUSTON – Kaleb Susko passed for 98 yards and a score Friday night as Chartiers-Houston won a critical Black Hills Conference game against California.

Miles Williamson was Susko’s main target, catching seven passes for 83 yards and a touchdown as the Bucs (4-2, 5-2) moved into fourth place all by themselves in the conference.

Derek Hull also scored for the Bucs on a short run, while Mike Cushma added a 39-yard field goal.

James Bongiorno scored on a 26-yard run for California (3-3, 3-3), which falls into a three-way tie for fifth place in the conference.
