GCC beats Charleroi with big 2nd half

Tyler Balla had 305 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries as Greensburg Central Catholic overcame a slow start to beat Charleroi, 33-14, Friday night in an Interstate Conference game.

Nate Stone scored a pair of first-half touchdowns for the Centurians (3-2, 3-3), who led just 12-7 at the end of the first half against the Cougars (0-5, 1-5).

Eddie Kilkeary added a pair of touchdowns, one on a run, one on a reception for GCC.

Brandon Bowman scored on 50-yard fumble return in the first quarter, while Dakota Moorer had a 46-yard TD run for Charleroi.
