Yough pulls away from Waynesburg

Clayton Waldron and Tyler Donahue easch ran for two touchdowns and connected on a 13-yard touchdown play as Yough (3-3, 3-4) defeated Waynesburg 52-29 Friday night in an Interstate Conference game.

Waldron scored on runs of three and seven yards, and scored on a 46-yard fumble return in the fourth quarter.

Donahue threw for 103 yards and ran 162 yards, including scoring runs of 19 and 54 yards.

Waynesburg (2-4, 3-4) tied the game at 7-7 in the first quarter when John Glen Davis punched in a 3-yard run , but Yough reeled off the next 24 points.

Davis ran for 115 yards on 15 carries.
