Fort Cherry offense continues to roll

McDONALD – Fort Cherry’s high-powered offense was in top gear again Friday night.

Quarterback Matt Heslin threw for four touchdowns and ran for another, and running back Koltan Kobrys accounted for four touchdowns, as the Rangers (7-1, 7-1) defeated visiting Brockway 59-34 in a non-conference game.

Heslin passed for 266 yards and threw touchdown passes of 49, 49, 31 and 62 yards. He scored on a 33-yard run in the second quarter. Heslin has thrown 29 touchdown passes this season.

Kobrys carried 25 times for 251 yards and scored on runs of one, 35 and 29 yards. He has rushed for 1,681 yards on the season with 21 touchdowns. Alex Babirad caught four passes for 105 yards and a score, and Zach Dystert hauled in three catches for 92 yards.
