Cushma’s kick caps C-H’s 2nd-half comeback

Mike Cushma booted a 42-yard field goal in the fourth quarter Friday night to give Chartiers-Houston a 9-6 victory over Bishop Canevin in a Black Hills Conference game.

C-H (1-1, 1-1) overcame a 6-0 halftime deficit, using a four-yard touchdown pass from Kaleb Susko to Miles Williamson in the third quarter to pull even and Cushma’s game-winning field goal.

Canevin (0-1, 0-1) took the 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a 12-yard TD run by Reed Relosky.

Spencer Terling rushed for 82 yards on 22 carries for C-H.
