Jeannette blew open a close game with a 27-point third quarter, beating Charleroi, 62-27, Friday night in an Interstate Conference game.

Jeanette (2-0, 2-0) led just 15-13 in the second quarter following a Dakota Moorer TD catch from Brennan Matthews for the Cougars (0-2, 0-2).

But six different Jayhawks scored touchdowns in a 41-0 run, including a 69-yard punt return by Damone Morton.

Jimmy Smith added a 90-yard run for Charleroi in the fourth quarter, while Keenan Griffith returned a fumble 21 yards for a score.
