Demetri Clements rushed for 132 yards on only 13 carries and scored a touchdown as California picked up its first victory, defeating host Bishop Canevin, 28-14, Friday night in a Black Hills Conference game.

Cory Adams, James Bongiorno and Lester McGriff all scored rushing touchdowns as California (1-3, 1-3) built a 21-0 lead.

But Reed Reloski, who threw for 174 yards, tossed a pair of touchdown passes to keep Bishop Canevin (0-3, 1-3) in the game.
