BURGETTSTOWN – Ty Cook ran for two fourth-quarter touchdowns, and passed for another score, as South Allegheny defeated Burgettstown, 28-6, Saturday afternoon in a Century Conference game at Hill Memorial Stadium.

Cook gave South Allegheny a 7-0 lead less than three minutes into the game by passing 50 yards to Kordell Thompson.

Burgettstown, however, pulled to within 7-6 late in the first half when Stephen Kotouch scored on a five-yard run. Kotouch led Burgettstown (0-4, 0-5) with 90 rushing yards.

Curtis Moore’s eight-yard TD run in the third quarter made it 14-6, and South Allegheny (1-3, 1-4) pulled away with Cook’s scoring runs of 27 and six yards. Cook had 18 yards on five completions and rushed for 96 yards.
