Rebellion to hold open tryout

The Pennsylvania Rebellion will hold an open tryout for their inaugural season in the National Pro Fastpitch League on May 5 at Consol Energy Park. The tryout will run from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Players are required to bring their own equipment. Metal spikes are not permitted. Drills to be conducted include pitching, hitting, fielding, time baserunning and position-specific drills.
The tryout is open to all females ages 21 and over with no college eligibility remaining. A $60 payment must be sent to the Rebellion prior to the tryout date. To register, visit www.rebellionprosoftball.com.
The Rebellion open the season May 30. The home opener is June 5.
