O’FALLON, Mo. – The Wild Things’ game Wednesday night at the River City Rascals was rained out. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday at T.R. Hughes Ballpark beginning at 5:05 p.m.

Not playing cost the Wild Things first place in the Frontier League’s East Division, which they held the last four days. Evansville swept a doubleheader at home Wednesday against Windy City and moved a half-game ahead of both Washington and Southern Illinois. Fourth-place Lake Erie lost in extra innings at Normal and fell two games behind Evansville.

There are eight days remaining in the Frontier League’s regular season.
