Jenkins, fast start, lead Mt. Lebanon over C-M

MT. LEBANON – Quarterback Eddie Jenkins had a hand in four first-half touchdowns as Mt. Lebanon opened the season with a 40-0 victory over visiting Canon-McMillan in a Class AAAA Southeastern Conference game.

Mt. Lebanon scored all its points in the first half as Jenkins ran 19 yards for the game’s opening score and threw TD passes of four and 45 yards to Alex Englert and 18 yards to Shane Lefever. Lefever also returned a fumble 30 yards for a score, and Joye Tabile closed the scoring with a 95-yard touchdown jaunt in the second quarter.

Stabile rushed for 114 yards on nine carries. Jenkins completed eight of 10 passes for 93 yards. Alonzo Lemus had an interception for C-M.
