Kemp, TJ spoil Milchovich debut at Ringgold

JEFFERSON HILLS – Quarterback Austin Kemp carried the ball 33 times for 249 yards and four touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass as Thomas Jefferson defeated Ringgold, 49-6, in a Big 9 Conference game.

Kemp’s first pass in the game went for a 12-yard touchdown pass to Russell Siess with 47 seconds remaining in the first half to give TJ (1-0, 1-0) a 28-6 lead at the half.

Nico Law threw an 82-yard touchdown pass to Mayson Atkinson in the first quarter that pulled Ringgold (0-1, 0-1) to with 7-6 at the time under new head coach Nick Milchovich.
