Senior guard Kaitlynn Fratz scored a game-high 22 points and California University never trailed while rolling to a 62-47 victory over Shippensburg in a PSAC West Division game Tuesday at the Convocation Center.
Fratz made 10 of 15 shots from the field for the Vulcans, who improved to 5-0 in the league and 8-1 overall. Call has won four in a row.
Emma Mahady followed with 12 points and Miki Glenn had a strong overall game with 11 points, eight steals, six assists and five rebounds.
Cal took control of the game with a 14-0 run late in the first half that opened a 37-20 lead.
Morgan Griffith, with 10 points, was the only player in double figures for Shippensburg (1-3, 5-5).
