Tim Frazier scored on a driving layup with 6.1 seconds to go Wednesday night, capping a remarkable rally to give Penn State a 66-65 victory at Indiana.

Frazier finished with 14 points as the Nittany Lions (13-12, 4-8 Big Ten) defeated Indiana for the first time since March 2011.

Indiana led 64-53 with 3:19 to go, but on a night Indiana (14-10, 4-7) committed 20 turnovers and struggled to inbound the ball late, Penn State closed the game on a 13-1 run.

Twice in the final 15 seconds, Penn State stole inbound passes with a chance to tie the score or take the lead. The first one slipped away when Ross Travis missed 1 of 2 free throws, but Frazier bailed him out with the layup that gave Penn State its only lead of the game.

Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell missed a 17-footer in the closing seconds for Indiana.

Richmond 75, Duquesne 58: Kendall Anthony continued to fill the void by the loss of Richmond’s top scorer, his 20 points leading the Spiders past Duquesne 75-58.

A week after losing leading scorer Cedrick Lindsay (18.3 ppg) for the season to torn meniscus in both knees, Anthony hit 20 or better for the third straight game.

Richmond (16-8, 6-3 Atlantic 10) opened the contest with Anthony, Wayne Sparrow and Deion Taylor knocking down back-to-back-to-back 3-pointers as the Spiders zipped out 9-2, extended that to 17-3 and were never threatened.

In the second half, Duquesne (10-13, 2-8) went more than 6 minutes without scoring, falling from nine points behind to 20.
