SF places 8 on all-state football team

Brett Brumbaugh led a contingent of eight players selected to the Pennsylvania Football News 2013 All-State Team.

The junior quarterback joined senior wide receiver Justin Watson, junior offensive lineman Anthony Davidson, senior defensive lineman Ben Berkovitz, and senior linebacker Zach Walker on the first team in Class AA.

Senior Wide receiver Conner Beck and senior athlete JJ Walker made second team and junior Brian Coyne was third-team kicker.

Washington’s senior defensive lineman Arthur Long and senior athlete Chase Caldwell and McGuffey offensive lineman Nick Matheny made second team.

Senior wide receiver Clintell Gillaspie was named first team in Class A and teammates Justice Rawlins, a senior linebacker, and Javon Brown, a senior defensive back, made second team.

Zak Dysert, a senior tight end, made second team and Koltan Kobrys, a senior running back, was third team for Fort Cherry.

Gino Faieta, a senior defensive lineman, made third team in Class A for Beth-Center.

In Class AAA, junior athlete Nico Law made second team.
