Wrestling: Canon-Mac (12-0) wins big at Fort LeBoeuf

Canon-McMillan, the two-time defending PIAA Class AAA team champion, defeated Fort LeBoeuf, 40-18, Monday night in Waterford.

Canon-McMillan remained perfect in duals (12-0) after its rare appearance in northwestern Pennsylvania, while LeBoeuf dropped to 5-2.

Isaac Miles (138) and Blaze Kansco (160) had falls for the Canon-Mac, which also benefited from technical falls by Dalton Macri (126) and Malachi Krenzelak (145). Abe Guarriello (106) and Garret Reinwald (195) recorded pins for the Bison.

Waynesburg 54, Moon 18:

Waynesburg combined three pins with six forfeits and easily defeated undermanned Moon 54-18.

Shaun Wilson (132), Colin McCracken (160) and Brian Cargo (220) each had a fall for Waynesburg. Moon forfeited six of the first seven weight classes.

Bentworth 60, Mapletown 16:

Bentworth picked up nine pins en route to a 60-16 Section 2-A Class AA win over Mapletown.

Chad Gurdish, Jake Rothka, Ty Mitchell, Matt Vickless, George Liberatore, Ethan Tush, Paul Mizia, Dillon Jolly and Mason Shumaker recorded falls for Bentworth (3-1, 3-1).

Tyler Rumble had a pin for Mapletown (2-2, 2-2).
