Those waiting for the Pennsylvania Rebellion to reveal the selection of manager will have to wait a little longer.

The organization, housed at Consol Energy Park and about to begin its inaugural season in the National Professional Fastpitch league, was expected to name its manager Monday.

But the announcement was postponed, and no date has been set for one.

Chris Blaine, Director of Marketing and Communications, said an announcement will be made soon.

In a related matter, Kate Billings, the assistant general manager of the Rebellion, has taken another job. Her last day was Jan. 15.

The Rebellion have already reached an agreement on the organization’s first manager from three finalists.

The Rebellion is one of four teams competing in the league and their games will be played at Consol Energy Park. The other teams include the Akron Racers, Chicago Bandits and the USSSA Pride, the defending champion based in Osceola, Fla. The Rebellion takes over for the New York-New Jersey team that was headquartered in Bridgewater, N.J., and compiled a 10-38 record.
