Rebellion fall again to Akron

AKRON – Nerissa Myers and Ayumi Karino drove in two runs each as Akron defeated the Pennsylvania Rebellion, 5-2, Tuesday night in a National Pro Fastpitch game.

Rachele Fico scattered six hits for Akron (10-10), which took three of four games from the Rebellion (4-14) in the series. Fico struck out six and walked just one.

Tatum Edwards took the loss for Pennsylvania, allowing five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings on eight hits. Bryana Walker pitched the final 3 1/3 innings for the Rebellion, allowing just one baserunner on a walk.

Angeline Quiocho, who had two hits, homered for the Rebellion. It was her third homer of the season.
