California University has earned the title as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s top all-around program by winning the Dixon Trophy for the 2013-14 academic year. It is the second time California has laid claim to the award, having won its other crown during the 2008-09 campaign.

The award is given to the program which generates the top average point value among each PSAC Championship sport it sponsors. Each sport champion earns 18 points – based on the league’s membership total – and descending point values are awarded for respective placement. California generated an average score of 12.28 points among its 18 league sports, topping second-place Shippensburg, which netted an 11.95 point average. Last year’s champion, West Chester, finished in third at 11.80, closely followed by Indiana (11.50), Edinboro (11.31) and Slippery Rock (11.28).
