Wade leads Clairton past Chartiers-Houston

CLAIRTON – Lamont Wade had 269 yards and six touchdowns on 19 carries as Clairton defeated Chartiers-Houston, 62-3, in a first-round WPIAL Class A game Friday night.

Ryan Williams added 237 yards and one touchdown pass, completing 12 of 21 passes, for Clairton (10-0), the No. 2 seed in the Class A playoffs.

Spencer Terling rushed for 103 yards on 20 carries for the Bucs (5-5), whose lone score came on a 37-yard field goal by Mike Cushma, his 10th successful field goal of the season.
