Addy Knetzer, a freshman from Chartiers-Houston, had team-highs of 17 points and eight rebounds as Waynesburg made a late-game charge for a 72-62 come-from-behind victory over host Pitt-Greensburg Tuesday night.

UPG (1-1) trailed 28-23 at halftime but the Bobcats, who received a game-high 21 points from Emily Nelson, took a seven-point lead (41-34) with 12:49 remaining in the game. Waynesburg (1-1) then went on a 13-3 run to regain the lead. The score remained close until a three-pointer by Haley Delaney gave the Yellow Jackets the lead for good and started an 11-0 run.

Maura Bobby came off the bench to score 16 points for Waynesburg, and Katie Gehlman had 10 points.
