CLEVELAND (AP) – Long lines wrapped around Quicken Loans Arena as Cavaliers fans eagerly waited to welcome back LeBron James.

Four years after the NBA superstar left for Miami, James has returned to the Cavs and he’ll wear a No. 23 uniform and perform in front of Cleveland fans for the first time as the team holds a scrimmage. The Cavs gave away 20,000 free tickets for the event that also will be the public’s first look at the new-look Cavs with James, All-Stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love and rookie coach David Blatt.

James re-signed with the Cavs to try and bring Cleveland its first pro sports championship since 1964.

The 29-year-old left Cleveland in 2010 on bad terms with some fans, but he’s back and all seems to be forgiven.
